YES. Say it again. One Small Ledge For Visitors. One Big Ledge For Residents.
But no more, for we were told at a Residents Council Meeting yesterday that the (wait for it)….
LEDGE IS GONE.. (HURRAH AND MUCH APPLAUSE).
Nothing any more to stop the Residents who are free to go out. No Ledge.
How is staff to know that a Resident has gone out though. What if there is (God forbid) a fire in the lodge? Then staff is going to be looking everywhere in the lodge for that resident.
Solution: First we tell staff, not as a courtesy but as a necessity, when we are leaving and when we return. Thank you.
Sounds like a good rule to me. Rules are often one of those necessary nuisances.
